Why CareNational?
CareNational takes pride in finding the right fit, every time, with detailed, dedicated search techniques and thorough screening processes that put us on the cutting edge of healthcare recruitment.
CareNational pays our temporary employees every Friday on a weekly basis. You will be paid each Friday for the previous pay period, which runs weekly from Monday – Sunday.
Each of CareNational’s clients may use a different timekeeping system, or “VMS”. If the client does not provide their own system, you will use CareNational’s system, called Paylocity. Instructions for entering your time can be obtained by emailing payrollhelp@carenational.com.
All timesheets must be submitted AND approved by Tuesday at 12:00 PM in your timezone, or the pay will be delayed. CareNational is only able to pay hours that have been approved by our clients.
If you are late in submitting your timesheet into the system or your supervisor is late approving your timesheet in the system, you will be late getting paid. CareNational can only pay what has been approved by our clients.
If you need to call out of work or will be tardy for any reason, you must contact your CareNational Account Manager or Recruiter, as well as your direct supervisor at our client company, at least two hours prior to your scheduled work time. Failure to provide reasonable notice may result in termination and may make you ineligible for future work assignments with CareNational.
The end date or length of assignment is determined by CareNational’s client company, and is often not a “hard” stop date. If you have any questions or uncertainty about your assignment, please contact your CareNational Recruiter or Account Manager.
While your employment may be “at-will”, a two-weeks’ notice is always the most professional way of departing from an assignment. We strongly recommend a two-weeks’ notice, as it is not only a professional courtesy, it also avoids “burning bridges” with CareNational’s client and allows the client to put a plan of action for your exit into place. Please notify your CareNational Account Manager or Recruiter, and he/she will discuss any end-of-assignment matters with you.
As of January 1st, 2020, all paystubs and W-2s can be accessed at Paylocity.com by logging into your payroll account. For paystubs or W-2s issued prior to January 1, 2020, please log into your www.Gusto.com account if you have one, or contact payrollhelp@carenational.com.
You can view the available benefit information here. You will be able to enroll in benefits only after you have begun your assignment (an email will be sent to you after you start with instructions for enrolling/waiving coverage) and you will have 21 days from the start of your assignment to enroll or waive coverages.
Your medical insurance is through EMI health. If you have not received the information from EMI in the mail, please call 801-2652-7475 or text 801-436-8243 to reach EMI Health’s customer service, and they can provide your member ID number. Then, you can download the EMI health mobile app to access your health insurance ID card.
For your supplemental benefits through MetLife, you will need to visit www.metlife.com. Then, select personal account and click log in, then click the link to “register your account”. From there, click that you get MetLife benefits through an employer or association. Please look up CareNational Healthcare Services, LLC from the list of options and then complete the registration process.
The first step is to call your assigned CareNational Recruiter or Account Manager and let them know your assignment has ended, and that you are available for work. Your CareNational Representative will work with you and inform you of any new opportunities for which your background would fit in your desired location.
